By using FocusBlobs (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. They’re written in plain language because that’s the spirit of the app.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to sign up. Use a real email so we can reach you about account issues.
Acceptable use
Don’t use FocusBlobs to:
- Break the law (yours or ours)
- Try to break our service or other people’s accounts
- Resell or scrape the service without written permission
- Harass other users (e.g., via the family/leaderboard features)
- Upload anything that infringes someone else’s rights
Pricing & billing
Free tier is genuinely free, forever, for the basics described on our pricing page. Premium and Family are paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually. You can cancel any time; refunds for annual plans are pro-rated based on unused months. If we raise prices, anyone already subscribed keeps their original rate.
Your content
Your tasks, sessions, and notes belong to you. We don’t claim ownership. We need a limited license to store and display them back to you (the obvious thing — that’s how a database works). We won’t use your content for anything else.
Service availability
We try hard to keep FocusBlobs running, but we don’t guarantee 100% uptime. If something breaks badly we’ll communicate via the in-app banner or email. Plan accordingly — if your job depends on this app, please don’t.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten our service. We’ll give you a chance to fix things first if it’s reasonable to.
Limitation of liability
FocusBlobs is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the service. Our total liability is capped at what you’ve paid us in the past 12 months, or $50, whichever is greater.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update the date at the top if these terms change. For material changes, signed-in users get an email.
